A two-day training seminar was held for employees of the Department of Internal Anti-Corruption Control and Compliance

Employees of the Department of Internal Anti-Corruption Control and Compliance of Uzbekiston Temir Yullari Joint Stock Company took part in a two-day training seminar on "Effective implementation of a corruption prevention and compliance control system in government agencies and organizations" organized by the Anti-Corruption Agency of the Republic of Uzbekistan.

In accordance with the decree of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan dated January 12, 2022 No. UP-81 "On measures to introduce a rating system for evaluating the effectiveness of anti-corruption activities", it is planned to develop and implement measures to promote the positive anti-corruption experience of organizations whose effectiveness is assessed as "good". It is known that by the end of 2023, Uzbekiston Temir Yullari Joint Stock Company entered the category of organizations with a "good" rating in 6th place with 89 points in terms of anti-corruption effectiveness.

During this two-day training seminar, employees of the Department of Internal Anti-Corruption Control and Compliance of Uzbekiston Temir Yullari Joint Stock Company made a presentation demonstrating the ongoing work in the Company as part of the formation of an uncompromising attitude, increasing the legal awareness and culture of employees.

This event, organized within the framework of the project "Improving Public Administration in Uzbekistan: inclusive measures to prevent corruption", implemented with the financial support of the European Union in cooperation with the GIZ, the UN TD, the Regional Dialogue and the Latvian state, addressed issues of internal control against corruption in the activities of government agencies and the private sector, international standards and best practices. The practice of implementing the system is based on the experience of countries such as South Korea, Malaysia, Germany and Slovenia.
