Yashil Makon: Railway workers are actively engaged in landscaping

Today, the creation and reproduction of green nature in all cities, districts and regions of our country has risen to the level of state policy.

The national Green Space project is being actively implemented in the joint-stock company” Uzbekistan temir yullari". Special attention is paid to the greening of the environment at all enterprises, factories, organizations and institutions of the network. In accordance with the instruction of the Head of our State at the meeting on November 2 this year, efforts to implement the national Green Space project are carried out on the basis of a well-thought-out program and plan. That is, based on the areas of enterprises, depots, stations, stations belonging to 6 regional railway hubs under the jurisdiction of the system, a project for planting fruit and ornamental plantings and shrubs was developed, as well as under the control of actual implementation. 

– The current result of the national Green Space project has been recognized as an ”actual 40-day“ tree planting in the period from November 2 to December 10, - says Asror turakhanov, Deputy head of the Department for Interaction with higher-level, local authorities and Self-government of Uzbekistan Temir Yullari JSC. - As part of this project, 286 new green spaces have been created in all railway districts of the republic. Also, within the framework of the project, 43 thousand 126 ornamental bushes, 3 thousand 250 bushes of various types of shrubs and more than 20 thousand 90 bushes of various types of fruit plantations. These works are under strict control of responsible employees of the management staff on a daily basis. In this regard, in the internal and external territories of enterprises and organizations under the jurisdiction of the system, on the squares of the camp and the Palace of Culture of Railway Workers, around the crossings between railway stations, in factories and enterprises, along with decorative plantings, fruit trees such as apricots, apples, pears, walnuts are planted. 

It is worth noting separately that the climate changes currently taking place not only in our country, but also around the world, concern all of us equally. Such noble projects being implemented will help preserve Mother Nature and envelop our country in greenery. And the effective continuation of this project in the spring months will benefit each of us, calling for renewal and rejuvenation. The positive efforts made will help to appreciate the noble qualities inherent in our people and instill goodness in the hearts and minds of young people, to give beauty to villages and cities, districts and mahallas.

Young people working in the railway system, employees of all industries and responsible managers are actively involved in this nationwide Green Space project.
