A field seminar on the exchange of experience in the field of labor protection was held today at three large enterprises of Uzbekistan Temir Yullari JSC. The practical seminar was attended by the head of the Department of Labor Protection, Technical and Industrial Safety of Uzbekistan Temir Yullari JSC A.Asamkhodjaev, Chief Engineer of the Locomotive Operation Department S.Kadyrov and all involved responsible persons, specialists of regional railway structures whose activities are inextricably linked with ensuring labor protection at railway enterprises.
The first object of the seminar participants' visit was the locomotive depot “O'zbekiston". There was an excursion through the workshops of auto coupling, turning of wheelsets and new departments of mechanical processing and repair of locomotive compressors. They also visited and got acquainted with the organization of work on labor protection in the workshop of the current repair of electric locomotives VL80S and VL60K. The guests highly appreciated the work done by the O'zbekiston locomotive depot on labor protection of its employees, stressed the need to use local experience in creating labor protection conditions in other production enterprises of Uzbekistan Temir Yullari JSC.
The next object of the workshop was the Mechanical Workshop of JSC Tashkent Plant for the Construction and repair of passenger cars. The modern technologies introduced here are noteworthy. In particular, a “face control” system is installed on the territory of the workshop, which recognizes persons who are not involved in the production process when entering the workshop or department. Also, this electronic system allows you to be aware of such production details as when an employee entered or left a given territory, how long it took to manufacture a part or to process it. In particular, data on the last medical examination of health has been entered into the system and if an employee has not passed a timely medical examination, he is suspended from work, and the head or head of the personnel department receives an SMS notification about this.
The participants of the seminar also got acquainted with a similar reader device that provides collecting the necessary information and calculating labor efficiency at the Foundry-Mechanical Plant subsidiary. There was also an excursion through the production workshops and familiarization with the organization of occupational safety at work, the creation of conditions at workplaces, behind machines and in departments.
Following the results of an impressive and useful in practical terms field seminar, its participants had the opportunity to ask questions of interest to them, and the head of the Department of Labor Protection, Technical and Industrial Safety of JSC Uzbekistan Temir Yullari A.Asamkhodzhaev strongly reminded of responsibility, the importance of treating their functional duties with utmost responsibility, not to allow negligence in work.
